Which Sourcing Tool Fits Where You Are? Lead Lists, Automation and Manual Sourcing with Quincy Lin

A lead list, an automation tool and a browser extension each solve a different problem, and the wrong one first is a monthly bill you can't use yet. Quincy Lin has run an online arbitrage lead list since 2015 and builds sourcing tools. He'll tell you up front that his own lead list probably isn't the right first tool for a newer seller, and what he'd start with instead.

Hosted by Brian and Robin Olson and guest Quincy Lin

The agenda

What we'll cover

  1. Four ways to find products

Direct sourcing, reverse sourcing, lead lists and automation tools, and what each one costs you in money and in time.

  2. Why hands-on sourcing comes first

Doing it yourself is how you learn to judge a lead: sales rank, price history, seller count, and whether your account can sell it. That judgment is what makes every later tool worth paying for.

  3. The tools for each stage

QikFinds for direct sourcing on a retailer's site, QikSource for reverse sourcing from Keepa, and QikLists 2.0 for when you're ready for a lead list.

  4. When to move up

How to tell you've outgrown a tool, and what to move to next.

Who it's for

Newer online arbitrage sellers deciding what to pay for, and anyone already paying for a lead list or a sourcing tool they don't fully use.

What to bring

What you source with today, what it costs you each month, and the one question you most want answered.

Stay to the end: Quincy is bringing discounts on all three of his tools for the people on the live call.
