Days of cover, on any product you checkHow long the market’s buyable stock lasts at the recent rate of sale. A short figure means the cheap supply is nearly gone, and that is when price moves.

It only counts stock that can actually sellSupply is capped at the highest price the market has demonstrably cleared in the last 90 days. Somebody paid that, so those units can absorb demand. Units parked above it are unproven, and counting them would hide a real gap.

Prime supply by default, and your call to change itAn FBM offer does not serve a two-day Prime buyer, so FBM stock stays out of the supply count unless you switch it on. FBM prices still inform the ceiling either way. On one test product, counting FBM moved the reading from 2.5 days of cover to 6.8.
