PATH Profit Zones Mobile: Privacy Policy

About this app

PATH Profit Zones Mobile is a free tool for evaluating products for Amazon FBA. This notice covers the mobile app, not the Chrome extension or the website. Updated September 15, 2026.

Camera and barcodes

Camera access is used to read product barcodes on your device. The app does not upload camera frames or record audio. A barcode you scan or enter is sent directly to Keepa when you request a live lookup.

Keepa connection

Your API key is stored using the device’s encrypted secure storage. Existing keys are migrated out of ordinary app storage. Requests send your key and product identifier directly to Keepa over HTTPS; Keepa also receives connection information such as your IP address. Testing your connection makes a product request and may consume tokens. Keepa handles those requests under its own terms and privacy policy. PATH does not operate a proxy for these requests.

Local settings and scan history

Buying criteria, appearance preferences, and up to 200 scan history entries are stored locally in ordinary app storage. History can include product identifiers, titles, prices, fees, costs, results, and price history. Ordinary app data may be included in device backups, depending on your device settings. The mobile app has no PATH account, first-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or first-party product-data backend.

Product images and sample data

Live product images are loaded from Amazon image servers, which receive image requests and network connection information. Sample results use bundled synthetic data, make no Keepa requests, and do not add entries to your scan history.

Sharing and CSV exports

Sharing happens only when you choose it. Result images may include product details; Settings lets you hide the title, ASIN, and photo in shared images. CSV exports include product details and buying results for the scans you select; the image privacy setting does not hide CSV fields. Temporary CSV files are removed after the share sheet closes, with interrupted files cleaned on the next export. Copies sent to another app remain under that app’s control and are not deleted when you remove scan history.

Deleting data

To disconnect Keepa, clear your API key in Settings and tap Save settings. This deletes the stored key. You can delete individual scans from History or clear scan history in Settings. Removing the app removes its ordinary local data, although backups and exported copies may remain. On iOS, secure-storage items can survive reinstallation; disconnect before uninstalling to explicitly remove the key. You can also revoke a key with Keepa.
